Columbine - Miller Springs Nature Center Help us bring more wildflowers to the nature center! The Chinaberry trees seen around the park ruin the soil for wildflowers and as a result we have been trying to rid the park of as many of these trees as possible. Please come and help us with this and other efforts! We have plenty of things to do for people of all ages and expertise levels. The work starts at 8:00am but you are are welcome to come by anytime after that to help out. Stay as long as you wish. The official end is at noon but some of us might stay a bit longer!
We will meet in the parking lot just north of the Lake Belton dam and will work on projects that will increase wildflower habitat. Be sure to bring gloves if you have them and water as it will be a nice warm day! Long pants, long sleeved shirts and closed toe shoes are recommended.
