Volunteers met in the Nature Center parking lot and walked to the Green Pond trail, near the east end of the mural, to begin eradication of invasive species (Ligustrums, briars, and Nandinas) that had overtaken the trail.  Numerous volunteers and great weather coincided to make a productive day that greatly enhanced the first hundred yards of the trail, down to the amphitheater. Future workdays will be scheduled to continue the eradication and widen the major access to the ponds.
