We need your help!

Miller Springs Alliance is an organization made up entirely of volunteers committed to improving the Miller Springs Nature Center, and to improving community access to the natural beauty of our local resource.

Miller Springs depends upon your monetary donations to keep the gates open and the trails clear.

Keeping the trails clear of the abundant undergrowth, rocks, fallen trees, reducing the occurances of plants such as poison ivy along the trails and invasives damaging our park is a huge job and we need everyone to pitch in and do what they can to help our nature center remain the beautiful facility that it now is.

We value your contributions of

  • Dollars, to fund trail maintenance, invasive plant control and the incredible number of tasks needed to maintain the Nature Center.
  • Time, maintaining trails and park resources,
  • Ideas, submitted to the Board for planning future projects,
  • Materials, tools, herbicides, lumber, hardware, seeds, plants, mulch,
  • Artistic Creations, for our annual Spring Fundraiser, and

Financial contributions to the 501(c)(3) Miller Springs Alliance are tax-deductible, and greatly appreciated. Please consider the following categories, or contact the Board if you envision creating a Special Project.

Become an Individual, or Corporate Sponsor

The following sponsorship levels are suggested

Sponsor: These foundational $100 donations comprise the building blocks for trail and facility maintenance and improvements.

Benefactor: Your $1000 gift will be used to plant native trees and flowers, replace trees cut in the process of trail building, and eradicate the extensive invasive species that are harming other wildlife.

Patron: An Individual or Corporate gift of $2000 will implement the vision of the Miller Springs Alliance to improve Park facilities, and make them available to a greater number of visitors.

Life Patron: The greatest current need of the Miller Springs Nature Center is replace the aging boardwalk. A $20,000 gift will enable complete construction of this important goal. What greater honor for a friend, than to name a park facility for them?!

Natural Wonder: The Ten-Year plan for Miller Springs Nature Center includes a visitors center and a self-sustaining Arboretum, overlooking the spillway and New Canyon, that highlights wildflowers in bloom.  The facility will house public restrooms, tutorials on plants and wildlife in the park, and a spacious room with panoramic windows, suitable for a classroom, a conference room, or a unique dining event.
